For the past 10 of those years, she has been immersed in the world of dog sports, having played in (and achieved over 120 titles in) Earthdog, Tracking, Barnhunt, Sprinter, Rally, Tricks and K9 Nose Work®. Many of these titles are firsts for her particular breed, the Cairn Terrier.
She has as much passion for learning as she does for teaching and spends hundreds of hours every year improving her knowledge through courses, camps, seminars and conferences. Which means maintaining her credentials with the CNWI and CTDI programs of the NACSW is a snap.
Shelley is currently the Owner and Head Instructor for CairnHeart K9 Training, based in Richmond, BC. She offers all levels of K9 Nose Work® classes as well as private lessons. She is excited to soon be adding Novice and Intermediate Tricks classes to her schedule.
